Susa Eräranta works as a Project Director in the Climate Unit at the City of Helsinki, Finland. She has a background in climate mitigation, adaptation and circularity issues as well as urban planning and strategy-making processes, and has served in various expert and managerial posts in the public sector and academia. Her current duties include for example the development of effective climate mitigation actions and research-based process development to enable resilient and carbon negative planetary futures. Alongside her work in practice, she also serves as a Professor of Practice at Aalto University.
