Dalén

Annika Dalén is a gender equality and strategic development officer at the city of Umeå, Sweden, with a special focus on gender in relation to social sustainability, urban planning, mobility and climate change on local level. For the past three years she co-coordinated the URBACT Gendered landscape action planning network, focusing on developing locally contextualized tools and approaches to work towards gender equality in urban policies, planning, and services. She has worked in several projects and initiatives on gender equality and sustainable urban development and has more than 15 years of experience working with gender equality and human rights issues from both Sweden and Latin America.

Annika Dalén is a political scientist from Uppsala University in Sweden, with Master Degrees in Gender Studies from the National University of Colombia and in Communication for Development from Malmö University in Sweden
