Aleksi JÄNTTI is a Finnish politician (b. 1974) and acting deputy mayor of the City of Tampere. He graduated from the Finnish National Defense College in 1999 and served as an officer in the Finnish Defense Forces until the spring of 2008. During his military service he served in NATO's KFOR operation in Kosovo. After his military career, Jäntti has worked as an entrepreneur in the construction business and as an account manager for Barona in the human resources business.

Aleksi has been active in politics as a member of the City Council and the City Board in the municipality of Lempäälä in 2005-2011 and in the city of Tampere since 2013. He was elected as the deputy mayor for Urban Development in June 2017
