Vladimir Svet has worked for the Tallinn City Government since 2017 as the Head of Tallinn Centre District Administration and Lasnamäe District Administration. Since November 2021 he is the Deputy Mayor of Tallinn coordinating the work of the Urban Environment and Public Works Department and the Tallinn Municipal Police Department. His key priority is to create an inclusive, comfortable and human-friendly urban space. He aims to achieve that through development of parks, green areas and other urban infrastructure. Before joining the Tallinn City Administration, Svet worked at the office of the Chancellor of Justice. He holds Master’s degree in law from the University of Tartu and is a member of the Centre Party.
